M9 by Zong Unleashed

What if you could register your SIM cards in advance on your favorite number, probably not kidding, right ? You heard about the M9 by Zong. But the question is that, M9 has been unleashed or not so the answer is “Yes”. Zong has commenced industry first offer, interpreted as M9 after announcing it’s pre-launch. With this new dazzling offer, you are able to book your numbers and collect your SIM Cards within 10 days from the date of booking. For online bookers there will be a home delivery made on demand. There is more behind the scene, that if will you be a M9 customer, you will get special pricing for voice and data calls.

LG Optimus 2X a dual-core LG Star

 

This device looks very similar to the LG Star that we have already given some read-time too. The difference allegedly being that the LG Optimus 2X is a dual-core equivalent. In a video presented after the break, we get to see the Optimus 2X apparently wipe the floor with the Samsung Galaxy S. Of course, eventually there always had to be a new phone that drastically out-performed the Galaxy S, but to see it so soon is a rather surprise encounter.

Although I am not familiar with this particular benchmarking test, the difference in performance as shown by the video is most likely due to the dual-core nature of the Optimus 2X. Either way, it certainly casts an interesting foreshadow of what is to come from these dual-core devices. Remember, in theory they will be much less power intensive too.

HTC Scribe Android Honeycomb tablet to take on Motorola Xoom

SmartHouse reports that a Telstra executive told them "we have spoken to Peter Chou, CEO at HTC and he has told us that HTC is doing a tablet but they are concerned over its performance. They want to get it right. They have been working on a tablet for some time. You only have to look at what has happened to Toshiba and Viewsonic, they have rushed to launch tablets prior to Xmas in some markets only to face technical problems".

With HTC recently trademarking the name "Scribe" for a tablet device, could this possibly be the HTC Scribe tablet? And this also comes as good news for those in Australia as it looks like Telstra wants to bring the HTC Scribe down under. Being a GSM carrier, we can guess that the HTC Scribe and its 3G capability won't just be targeted at Verizon and Sprint's CDMA networks.
