Nokia C7 ORO worth in Gold:

If you are the type that you can purchase a smartphone for $1635(138975 Pk Rs) without breaking into a cold sweat, you might be interested in the Nokia C7 ORO.

As its name properly suggests (oro means gold in Italian), the Nokia ORO has its frame and keys covered in 18K gold. The front three keys are also made of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The screen of the device is covered by Gorilla Glass. As for the back - it is wrapped in real Bridge of Weirleather of the finest quality (if you wonder what it is, look at some of today's supercars' interiors).

Russia will be the first place that the Nokia C7 ORO will be made available. Somehow, we can't see this model sitting on a shelf at Walmart or Best Buy.

Samsung Hired David Beckham as global brand ambassador:

Some people may pointed out that David Beckham is a part-time footballer, because most of his time is spending  in ad campaigns and photo shoots. They are right, it seems this is the exact reason why Samsung has chosen him as its Olympic Games Ambassador.

Mr.Beckham is charged with the job to disseminate the news that Samsung is a sponsor for the 2012 Olympic Games that will take place in London, which happens to be Beckham's birth place.

"The collaboration will start with appearances in multi-platform advertisements  and public relations campaigns, by covering various elements of Samsung's London 2012 marketing programme."

Samsung is quite aggressive with its Galaxy S II ads, but we guess that hiring David Beckham as a global brand ambassador for the company brings there  efforts to a  new level.
