By Fayyaz Ahmed

The white iPhone 4 by apple was announced yesterday and it's here today. it came with the delay year, but we would say that it's  excellent timing, but what's important is that the fair-colored iPhone 4 can now be ordered for both AT&T and Verizon. Apple's website was down for maintenance and now it shows the pale handset as available and shipping withing 3 to 5 business days for the same price as the black version:

White iPhone 4 16GB - $199

Above  prices are  with  two-year contract and all the capabilities iOS has to offer. And if you've missed on what the high-res Retina display, the 5-megapixel camera and FaceTime among others can offer, now it's the best time to take a closer look at our detailed reviews of the AT&T iPhone 4 and the Verizon iPhone 4. You can also bundle your white iPhone with a bumper case or choose among the rest of the accessories Apple offers for its handsets.

Galaxy S II launching in Korea, following 120 countries

One of the most popular  phones of Android for this year, the Samsung Galaxy S II, is hitting all major South Korean carriers as we speak. Samsung says the worldwide rollout will be about in 120 countries, similar to what the company did with the Samsung Galaxy S last year.

Also, a few creative commercials are already warming up the crowds for the amazing possibilities of the handset, which you can see demoed in our preview of the Samsung Galaxy S II.

The burning question is, of course, when will the Samsung Galaxy S II trickle down to the US? UK retailers are listing the first batches to arrive on Monday, with May 3rd the first dispatch date, so if you are dying to have it, nothing stops you to pay $700 retail plus shipping to the US.

The Samsung Galaxy S II, however, already cleared the FCC with AT&T frequencies more than a month ago, so we should expect to see it on US soil very soon. Mum's the word about Verizon or the other carriers, but considering the simultaneous launch event on all four carriers for the first edition last year, Sammy could very well pull off the same stunt.

Google Documents as Android apps to Android Market

Finally it come's  true for the user's with release of Google Docs as an Android app. Now  Available in Android Market as a free download in English language for Android phones running 2.1+, Google Docs allows you to access all of your Google accounts documents. You can evenly  open your content while in Gmail. Search, star, edit, rename and of course, read your documents right on your mobile device. A widget is also available, which allows you to open your Google documents straight from your phone's home screen.

You can edit documents while on the go and share them straight from your Android handset. And with the app and the camera on your phone, photos with text can be turned into an editable Google document using optical character recognition. you can also create new documents from just snapped pictures and old shots from your gallery can be converted by sharing them with the app. Google's own blog notes that there are some limitations such as the inability of the app to read handwritten text or some fonts. But the Mountain View company did say to "stay tuned-things will get better over time."

LG announces his financial results, loss in the handset division

LG Electronics announces  there operating profit of  the company , due to cost reduction initiatives in the quarter that ended March 31, 2011, compared to last quarter. Naturally, we are more interested in the results generated by the LG Mobile Communications Company, where all good things cell come out from.

Decreased of 8.9% in comparison to the first quarter of this year , to $2.6 billion in the January-March period from handset sales. The number of cell phone units shipped also decreased year-on-year, and from the fourth quarter of 2010, down to 24.5 million units, but LG attributes this to seasonality. Operating loss for the first quarter was 3.5%, $0.09 billion.

With the launch of there dual-core Android phone, and the first 3D-enabled phone - the LG Optimus 3D, and tablet - the T-Mobile G-Slate, as well as the innovative LG Optimus Black, the company is envisioning better results in Q2 and the subsequent quarters. LG is shaping to be another one of the losers in the cell phone industry, which is slowly pulling itself by the bootstraps, thanks to a little green robot, like Motorola before, or Sony Ericsson now, and it is certainly doing it with style, and great Android handsets.
